FOR SEASON 2009/2010 THE REGISTRATION SECRETARY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING PHOTOGRAPHS FOR PLAYERS WHICH DO NOT CONFORM TO THE GUIDELINES OUTLINED BELOW. IF THE PHOTOGRAPH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, THE PLAYER WILL NOT BE REGISTERED!!!
1. Using a good quality digital camera take a head and shoulder photograph of each player. This could also be done using a mobile phone camera so long as the quality of photograph is good enough. Blurred photographs are of no use as is anything below the shoulders. For those who know how, please crop the photograph to give us just the head and shoulders. Photographs should be taken against a white background.
2. Transfer the photographs from your camera to your PC/laptop.
3. Go to the location on your computer where the photographs are stored so that you can view them as files. Right click on the relvant file and select "Rename".
4. Type in the following information as the file name:- Player Registration Number, Full Name, Address, Date of Birth & Date Signed. Do this for every player and remember that you must use the correct file extension at the end of the renaming process (i.e. if the file is a JPEG use .jpg or if it is a TIF use .tif). Do not use commas, slashes (/ or \) or colons (:) in the file name, a dash (-) will be OK. So for example a Westburn player's file name may be something like:-
WEST01-Steven Smith-33 Westburn Road Westburn Cambuslang G72 8TP-DOB 18041981-Signed 07082008.jpg
5. When you have renamed all of the files, copy them to the memory stick which the league have provided and bring them to the league meeting.
If you have any problems, PLEASE CALL A MEMBER OF THE COMMITTEE.
